CFS-043, 2-(3,4-Epoxycyclohexyl)ethyltrimethoxysilane  is an epoxy functional silane. It's mainly used as an adhesion promoter in the processing of various coatings and sealants. It is the equivalent of Momentive Silquest A-186 or ShinEtsu KBM-303.

Applications:
1. CFS-043 can be used as an adhesion promoter or primer in coating and sealants industries. Its epoxy functionality offers non-yellowing adhesion in various resin systems.
2. CFS-043 can be used as a crosslinker and an adhesion promoter in waterborne applications including acrylic and polyurethane coatings.
3. CFS-043 can be used to enhance adhesion and improve electricity properties of EMC (epoxy molding compound), electronic encapsulation and packaging materials.
4. CFS-043 can act as a surface modifier of inorganic materials such as fillers, glass fiber and metals. It can improve the bonding performance between organic resin and inorganic substrates. Suitable resins are epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, polysulfide and so on.
5. CFS-043 can be used to improve mechanical properties and electrical properties of various epoxy composites. Wet adhesion, anti-corrosion and water-proof properties could be enhanced.

Storage:
1. CFS-043 should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
2. CFS-043 should be stored in its original containers and used up as soon as possible after opening.
3. When stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container, CFS-043 has a shelf life of 12months.
