CFS-549, Methyltris(methylethylketoxime)silane is an important MEKO silane which mainly acts as a silane crosslinker. It is also named as Methyltris(MEKO)silane and abbreviated as MOS.

Applications

CFS-549 is mainly used as a crosslinking agent for RTV silicone rubbers.

CFS-549 can be used as a neutral curing agent in the formulation of silicone sealants. In combination with CFS-331(abbreviated VOS), CFS-549 can improve mechanical properties and chemical properties of silicone sealants.
CFS-549 can be used as an adhesion promoter to improve adhesion of silicone rubbers to plastics, nylon, ceramics and glass.

Storage

1.This product should be stored in a cool, ventilated warehouse to avoid fire or heat source. Avoid mixing reservoir with oxidants and food chemicals. Storage areas should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leakage.

2.The container should be covered tightly and kept upright, prohibit any mechanical damage. Do not expose to the wet air, do not recycle the drums.

3. Package should be complete before shipment, loading should be stable. When transport, ensure that the container will not leak, fall and damage; avoid mixed operations with oxidants, food chemicals; avoid solarization, rain and high temperature.
