3-Glycidoxypropylmethyldiethoxysilane is a versatile clear liquid. It is an epoxy functional silane which mainly acts as a coupling agent and an adhesion promoter in coatings and sealants industries. CFS-601, also called 3-Glycidoxypropylmethyldiethoxysilane, is the counterpart of Momentive Wetlink 78 and ShinEtsu KBE-402.

CFS-601 can be used as an adhesion promoter or a crosslinker in the coating and sealants industries. It's suitable for the processing of furniture adhesives, automotive sealants and marine coatings.

CFS-601 can improve electrical properties of composites therefore it is also used for the preparation of electronic encapsulation and electronic packaging materials.

CFS-601 can act as a surface modifier of various inorganic fillers and glass fiber, to improve the bonding performance between organic resins and inorganic substrates. Suitable polymers include epoxy, urethane, acrylic and polysulfide polymers.

CFS-601 can be used in acrylic and polyurethane waterborne coatings as a crosslinker and an adhesion promoter.

CFS-601 can be used as an important foundry resin additive and improve mechanical and chemical properties.
