CFS-845, Tetramethyl orthosilicate is a chemical compound containing four methoxy groups bonded to a silicon atom. It has similar basic properties to CFS-104(Tetraethyl orthosilicate, TEOS). CFS-845 is the equivalent of Dynasylan M.

Application:

CFS-845 has similar application fields to CFS-104, TEOS. But CFS-104 is usually preferred because of its eco-friendlier hydrolysis product, ethanol.

CFS-845 can be used as a crosslinking agent, a binder or a drying agent in adhesives, coatings and silicone rubbers. It is an important material for sol-gel processing.

CFS-845 can be used as an intermediate for the preparation of organic silicone products.
